St Patrick's Year 3/4 and 5/6 classes entered poetry in this local writing competition. The theme this year was Bringing it to Light.

Congratulations to Sophie Graham for winning two major awards with her poem "Together we are Bringing it to Light"   that was awarded first place in the Primary School poetry category and her poem won the overall Champion Poem in the Catherine Bragg poetry competition. 

Tahlira Rose and Locky Eccleston both received a Highly Commended award for their poems "STEP" and "Bring it to Light"

It is wonderful to see our students writing to a high standard and writing to themes and different audiences for purpose.
